Hehe. I should have just sent my old one last night as well, but instead I felt the need to wait for confirmation from you two. So you've had to wait for me, mwuahaha.

Okay, that's not very sinister, nor even all that long a wait. But we do what we can with what we have.

Alas, poor Togrul. Cut down like a common markata. Well, after all his torments (including the gratuitous disease Xi Mi had him infected with, purely of spite), it was a mercy, I suppose.

[Edit: I will say the lifting of the siege of Sulphur Springs went substantially better compared to the shared hallucination of yesterday. Thanks, RNG!)]

[And while I'm dropping blatantly OOC commentaries, can we all agree that the Vannheim PD is excessively annoying? That's even assuming you don't run into a glamored patrol...]

Hmmm, does this spell a major change of fortunes in the war? All of the last month's important battles went in my favour, incuding heroic struggle over Hope's End. Honestly, I thought I was done for when my flying niefel kicked the bucket, but instead the Kailasan monkeys broke and having nowhere to run(what a nice operational encirclement) died.
Was this the Stalingrad of this war?
I'm also proud of Svipdag and his pals otmanuvering Ajira's(or whomever) huge army in the area of Stronghold. This in turn reminds me of Mao's "Great March".
I just so happened to watch the battle of Sulphur Springs, and I must congratulate my Fishy Allies. Them lizard fellas are surprisingly good against Kailasan supercombatants. Must be the second "bite" attack lowering target's defense, I guess.
Dag, despite working hard to kill as many markatas as he can, still can not get back into the hall of fame, which makes him depressed. Will he become less depressed before being gruesomelly killed? Be sure to keep watching our show!

Was better off with my head under a rock that turn, huh?  I took a bad thrashing in every battle with only a few exceptions.  Even Van is countering my Guru spam.  Back to the drawing board.

If it's any consolation, against what appeared to be a single point of the PD that is amongst the worst in the game, one flock of birds fared just as badly.

Just jumping in here...is there interest in another Dominions 3 PBEM game?  Because I am interested.

Most of the players who have been eliminated from the current game by things other than technical difficulties expressed interest in doing another at some point in the future, and even with the current game taking rather a while per turn, I'd be willing to join another.

However, I am lazy, and would only join one. Someone else would have to set it up.

I have never run a game so I don't know how.  But I am interested in playing too.

Pretty much just scare up 5-7 interested people, agree on an era/map/options, have everyone call their nation, and then go here. The majority of the work would be the initial organization; actually setting up the game on the server is, by all accounts and appearances, trivial.

Should I start a new thread?

For anyone interested and reading this, I am open as to age/map/etc.  This is my first online pbem game, so someone else should suggest options that work best for that format.  Also, if we are playing with the all ages mod, if someone could direct me to where to download it, that would be great.

Start a new thread, yeah. Set an era poll - I'd recommend against mods if you want to maximize your potential participation. We're doing Urraparand for the map, with mostly default options - 150% Gold, renaming allowed, and site frequency 55 being exceptions - and it seems to have worked well enough for six (one water plus five land; I'd say it should be reasonably uncramped for up to six or seven land nations, and up to two water ones).

Hey guys.

I suck.  And so does verizon. After getting my DSL back over the weekend it was even worse than before, dropping connect very often and barely able to d/l last turn. So they came back out to work on Monday and it has been down ever since.  I was hoping to be back up tonight but no such luck.

I.e. I need another extension.  Sorry to delay (again) your planned monkey smashing.

I'll pop up 48h for ya. Gotta loathe Verizon...

[edit: Okay, turn delayed. New hosting deadline is 09:50 GMT Friday.]
