Of course! You're going to need a desert Pyramids! Make it out of green glass blocks.

Also, make a giant, almost full map encompassing Coliseum. Bonus if you actually fill it with thrones.

Tower style fortress, something akin to Isengard. Make pits and have magma free flowing all across the bottom z-layer. Make that magma accessable via long shafts and pits with scaffolding and interwoven chambers. Include at least 5 layer thick walls and, of course, the tower.

Underwater fortress. Preferably glass. (This is an extra)

Make a shrine. Have it only accessable via very long and challenging maze. Include multiple z-layers.

You do not understand the ways of Toady One. He is not a business, he's just a guy trying to make a fun game. He's invited people to come along and experience the journey with him (and help him test it out as he goes along). At the end of the day, I don't think his main goal is to sell Dwarf Fortress, its just to create the best game possible.

I like all of these ideas but I doubt I'll be able to do the underwater fortress because I'm trying to get monumentous things done in a not extremely long time so I can get more done. Dealing with water and going under it would lag lag lag. Also, don't mistake me going fast for not caring, the lighthouse is going well right now, I have less than 2 1/2 stories of it finished and am already up to aboot 1000 stone in use, with just the lighthouse. Since I will also be hiding artifact treasures in my monuments, I will not only make it difficult/long to get to the top, I will add challenges like traps and monsters.

Yikes, the Orcs have a nasty language.  Traditional foreplay would be right out for them; how would they ever "say my name" for one another?  No wonder Ocrs are always so bloodthirsty and violent, they're getting sub-par action.

Lol, I wish I could, but thats asking too much. One question, is there a limited amount of z-levels that you can go up? because I just realized the lighthouse will be pretty f**king gigantic.
There is indeed a limit. No more than 15 above the highest area of ground. That limit goes away next update, but that's not for a while.

They're ideas. Thats why I suggested them :)

Hmm... ideas...
I know! Make a gauntlet! Water randomly falls on spaces and is turned to obsidian, spikes that are set on a long repeater sometimes skewer the people running through it, bridges randomly fling or crush or just let them fall into magma, a magma and water cannon rains obsidian walls down, floodgates randomly close and open, changing the path, and at the end is all of your fort's finished goods artifacts, as well as a trade depot. I say the last one because you should use it on not just the goblins, but everyone that displeases you! Elves, of course, immediately fall in that category. PLUS: build it out of orthoclase to assault the eyes as well as the body.

Also, recreate your house. For extra realism, pick dwarves whose personalities relate to your family and stick them in there, then lock the door. Make sure to feed them through the chimney on the 25 of Obsidian!

Keep in mind that's highest z-level + fifteen, so if you have a mountain that rises ten z-levels above sea level, you have twenty-five z-levels to work with. Of course, you can always strip mine the top few layers or so to add even more space. If you embark on a desert map next to a mountain, removing the sand levels alone should get you about twenty-eight or so z-levels to work with.

My new favorite is a giant hole in the ground with water cascading into it and the fortress built into the walls going down to the bottom where it drains into a bottomless pit/chasm.

Find a shallow bit of sea and make Holland. Then you can build something else on it. :)

Bottomless pits and chasms aren't necessarily right were you want them, though. If the water needs drainage, it may be easier to dig fortifications at the edge of the map, and then you also have a pool at the bottom, should you need it.

Are you going to include The Colossus of Toad's?... in honor of Toady, of course.

I'll have a ocean-side giant statue somewhere. I don't know if I'll make it of a toad considering it's a little difficult to visualize a 3-D version of it in 2-D.

Buy a box of Sugar Cubes and build one. Each horizontal section corresponds to a 2-D DF construction level.

I hadn't quite thought of that before. I'll try to see if I can get some the next time I go to the store.

Edit: I might actually make that toad statue considering the goddess Oggez takes the form of a giant toad. She is associated with caverns so I will probably hollow out a mountain and put her statue in the center of it.
