Shades and the ZanithYou have researched LEVEL 4 HOUSING
The Zanith began making walls of stones fixed in place with moss and other fungi. This allows for them to put a permanent log-and-moss roof, and door in place. They also build small stone walls around their houses, to create a sort of "neutral" zone - recognised as belonging to that individual, but accessible to others.
You have researched LEVEL 1 WATER TRANSPORT
The youth in question had the idea of making the bowls out of much more durable material. The Zanith ended up using the shells of some of the larger fruits that they used as food. Indeed, the shells held a milky white sap anyway, so surely they would be up to the task of carrying water?

EJ and the GerYou have researched LEVEL 1 TACTICS
You can now choose which (or how many) of your warriors attack ranged or melee!
You have researched LEVEL 2 TACTICS
Your ranged warriors can now "stealth". They will be invisible to enemies for a certain distance, depending on their eyesight. This also allows for ambushes.
You will recieve a PM on the details of the Emisarry. Feel free to pick an option for the prisoner, however, unless the prisoner and emisarry talk, actions cannot be made with the assumption of the village or the individual. (i.e. they may not do what you want, and they don't know what's happening)

Pillow killer, and the Sodtat You have researched Trapping!
As one of your hunters was stalking the local wildlife he stumbled upon a deep pit in the ground, which had previously been covered by what looked like a fallen branch. I say previously, now however, the branch was at the bottom of the pit, along with one of the animals he had been hunting. A thought came to mind. If he could replicate this, then he would not need to hunt, just leave these traps around the woods and check them occasionally for anything that had fallen in. After experimentation, and the occasional accident, your hunters have traps of stone, spike pits, and nooses and snares.
Your hunters never have to hunt again, and are now more effective in the militia.
Any enemies attacking the village in future will suffer a penalty, due to the dangerous traps.
You have Researched Level 3 Husbandry!
The livestock have now been given a paddock to roam around in, held in by sturdy wooden fencing.

Because you are a Herd, you may pick two of these to make slight progress in both.
Flintus and the LactarlYou have researched Level 1 Defense
The lactarl have made a wall of logs, supported by the tried and true rock and waterweed combination. However, a very large, or very small animal could still get in (i.e. bears - and large races - and rats.)
You have researched Level 2 Defense
The stone walls on the inside of the logs are built up, with moss being plugged into the gaps, and the wall raising up to the levels of the logs. It is much more sturdy now, and will keep out most vermin.
You now have a Champion
Your most proficient warrior, a Champion is your avatar upon the earth. As you train him, he will grow. Currently, he has been gifted with many jewels and stones by the tribe, and the leader, as a symbol of their respect of Verss's capture. As a result of his actions in hunting, he now has a better chance of hitting enemies with thrown objects, and is better at stealthing. Because of him carrying the foriegn "emisarry" back to the camp, he is also stronger than the rest of the Lactarl.
Thorus can challenge him... but it's... risky. Thorus can also support him, which will allow him to train more.
An emisarry from the Ger has arrived. PM with your decision.

New Martian Emperor and the ZuickYou have researched Level 2 War
The Zuick have realised how silly it is to need to close with an enemy in order to attack. Using lighter, more balanced spears, they can effectively throw them.
Your soldiers are now: 20 ranged soldiers. (Spear-throwers)
You have researched Level 1 Literature
Your people put onto the task have, through great difficulty, compounded a single letter for every single sound in the alphabet, as well as a great many that don't exist in the alphabet. Ironically, your people can converse more fluently in the written language than in the spoken - well, those who know it, that is.
You have been "bumped up" to level 3 hunting
Your hunters, seeing the spearmen train, have an idea. Maybe a lighter spear could be used to hunt, instead of relying on trying to find aerodynamic rocks.

Thanks go again to Kashyyk for helping me with this.
Someone has completed a full arc, and is well on the way to advancing an age... Be warned, you all.
Ok, some of you may have realised who - and what races you are actually conversing with. Be aware that all conversation will go through me - in the interests of translation, and advice. After a certain point of contact, I'll open the option up - but as it is, if I find of people PM-ing eachother in game related stuff behind my back, your species will be plague-ified.
A really good hunter, a really good soldier - possibly even a really good emisarry. These people are forged through doing brave, courageous, stupid, or smart deeds, and are then picked to be your RPG man in the game. A Champion will lead an army, do one-on-one combat, be the hero, and all that fun stuff. Only thing is, he has a nice chance of dying in the process of becoming a champion. You tell someone to fuck off into the woods and not come back except with a prisoner from another race, don't complain if they die. However, I won't complain if they come back, proud as punch, with rock-hard abs and the "weight of experience".
You wanna declare war, you tell me. You need to know a few things first. 1. They exist (herp-derp). 2. Where they are.
After that, you can feel free to attack their villages. Be aware that herds will have a great number of poorly trained soldiers, Packs will have a few very well trained, and solitaries will immediately become champions. Warlikes are definately ahead in War, because they get a bonus to the amount of soldiers up front. If you are a survivalist pack against a warlike pack, better hope you are far ahead in war tech.
