Ah, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. I loved this game back when it came out, and every year as the holidays come close, the stars seem to align, and I pull out the pinnacle of Star Wars (until, as the title explains, the new MMO comes out. Even then, it's still probably going to be tied for 1st.) to enjoy its wonders once more. However, this year I'm going to do things a little differently. Now that I have a Tinypic account, and I'm figuring out how to use FRAPS I figured "Why not share it with the forums?"

So, here's my early Christmas present. You'd better like it, because this is the kind of shit that you can't return.

You're going to be building the generic character from scratch, and I'll be playing as normal for the most part. However I will be leaving the major points of it up to you. In a moment, there will be a poll up for what class we shall choose, and what alignment.

Well, as sad as it is for me, it appears that the Female Scout has won!

I will now update the poll to choose alignment. The options shall be:

*Paragon: The pinnacle of niceness, the Paragon goes out of his way to help everyone he can. EVERYONE. Basically Luke Skywalker post-Empire.

*Qui-Gon: Still definitively good, but a little less strict in morality. Does generally good things, but if a bad guy deserves it, they will be punished. Harshly.

Scoundrel: The "scum" of the galaxy, a Scoundrel is out for himself and himself alone. And his Heterosexual Life Partner. And his friends. And his droids, and the people he works for... Yeah, George Lucas kind of fucked up the whole "Neutral" mentality but if you vote for Scoundrel, I promise I will not. Every action will be for me and me alone. My friends just happen to benefit from those actions because they know me.

Evil Mastermind: The man working behind the scenes, slowly manipulating everything. Basically the Darth Revan from before the brainwashing. No matter what happens, he planned it. Army invaded his newly-acquired city? Planned it. Only friend just killed by a Wookie? Planned it. City under assault by coordinated terrorist attack, cutting off all communication and power? HE PLANNED IT.

Ridiculous Evil Bastard: Evil for the sake of being evil, this guy goes out of his way to make peoples' life worse, even his own if he can. Could be incredibly amusing, but possibly detrimental in the long run.

I realize that this could take quite a while, and I'm going to be starting this up only tomorrow, so I figure I'll get this going now-what shall our character's name be?

I voted for mastermind. Even though KOTOR is a good game, I already beat One and Two, and since the storyline ended with the Republic finally losing to the Sith, I really don't have that much interest in seeing it again.

Why are you changing both quotes? Although I do concur that HK-47 is good, and you shouldn't murder ABSOLUTELY everyone. At any rate, some of that belongs in a separate statement.

This was introduced in Zelda wasn`t it? You walk in some house, steal everything you can, destroy all the vases and whole time nobody takes care. And it is even in new games, why??? I remember only Gothic had some people defending their property, but ...
