I need to know how do you "claim title". And what does claiming title do?

After you survive x amount of days or receive x level, you can claim a title  for four AP. Once claimed, a title gives you a bonus salary on top of what you earned. From what I've seen, every new title is double the money gained by the old title.

Its worthwhile, since it helps offset your maintenance and taxes plus a bit of wages, though accountant is the big one for wages.

I'm starting to get ticked. Day 51 and no Ragnarok, despite the fact that NOW I can beat it without massive preparation. Grrr.

Edit: I ask, and I receive. YAY.

Edit2: If one of your allies happens to get the love skill, and you use the Sisters, max it out. It might not seem like much, but at 55 gold per sister at the max level, you get 1700 gold a stage with 30 sisters. Not a bad chunk of change.

Wow. One of my guys has like, 5 or 6 insurance. Since my repairmen can heal like, 10 points inbetween rounds, so I get some 200 or so free gold in addition to 200 gold from my level 1 museum and about 450 gold~ each time I collect my chicken eggs.

Duelists are rigged as hell with automatics. Rampage+full adrenalin gives you a 4x multiplier (?) on every attack. Rampage fuels your adrenalin bar quickly, and then adrenalin+sense combo makes it so nearly every hit is a crit, which sends you into rampage AGAIN.

Two questions to those who are well-versed in Elona fluff:

1) Who's that girl dancing on top of the Castle, and what does she do?

2) I've been seeing messages like "SHENA DANCES" and "{SOME IDIOT} BLESSED YOU!" What does that mean?

That's a little sister, she doesn't do much besides make sounds when you get a critical hit. You can shoot here if you have a gun of some sort, but she just respawns the next day.

You get those messages every time you score a critical hit or a headshot. Get 7 of those and you'll get a temporary rampage bonus to your damage, accuracy, and reload speed. Sheena is a character in the original Elona game, Jure is the goddess of healing in the original game.

What are Little Sisters anyway? Elona Wiki claims that they are spawned when you kill a Big Daddy and you give them to some scientist so they can experiment with them. I'm guessing they're a reference to Bioshock, but considering that Little Sisters are being used as living bombs in Elona Shooter, I'm guessing that there must be something else I'm missing...

Lol im a sheriff, day 100 something, never bought a henchmen, and have beaten ragnarok.

The answer is shotguns. Give everyone shotguns and keep buying shotguns that have 4 or 5 mod slots. Give them all lvl 3 mods.

I wonder what will happen when i run out of skills to level up with.

I got a 5 slot Auto Shotgun, and its a beast. It's a toss up between just straight reload 3's or maybe a couple of accuracy. Just wish it wasn't such a pain to remove the mods.

5 slot shotty here as well. I've got 2 lvl 2 mods and 3 3's....i want a 6 slot auto shotgun with 2 damage, 3 ammo, and a reload rate.

Personally, I've found that reload beats ammo, specially since I can reload my current one in like 1 second right now, and that with just 1 reload3, and damage isn't really needed with max doc holliday and the antiarmor and air skills.

Currently working with a sniper on hardcore to get those last couple of badges. Interesting fact, the snipers bar goes down more for a bowgun shot then with a rifle shot, but a miss never empties out the bar. Plus you never lose any from reloading.

Edit: So, rapid bowguns seem fairly poor with a sniper, due to the high rate of fire dropping their damage bonus to zero.

Actualy, I've found the bowgun to be far more effective then shotguns. Bowgus are quite accurate even at long ranges and enables you to potentialy take out more targets. Also, you tend to get more critical hits and it owns against large enemies (catapults and tanks). Only air is problematic and they don't have the round hit radius shotguns have.
