Neonivek hit the nail on the head. Programming is mostly planning ahead for future implications, writing a small line here or there and the rest debugging to make sure it works.

My guess is no, but hopefully he'll start using one when he gets around to optimizations etc.

  ANYway, my original concern was that he may feel like we're trying to pressure him into hurrying a release.  Which and correct me if I'm wrong, is the entire point of the thread.

I (personally) didn't take it this way. (But I can see why you might think that).

I see it as more of a gentle nudge to the upper arms of the two boys of the Adams Family (heh) to say :-

'Come on guys we still love ya'

On the basis that the over-extended release period has meant the donations might be drying up a bit ...

According to the Report, $5122.29 was sent during November, about $2700 apart from the $2400ish that was declared within this thread.  So hey, thanks everyone for making that a big success.

And remember, just because November is gone, there ain't no new version yet.
