I think I promised a while back to make a donation once I had a paying job and now I do, so $100 from me. I'll try to match it around christmas as well. By far the most I've spent on a computer game, but for once it doesn't feel like wasted money.

And with the generous donation by 3, the total is now somewhere around $1775.  Paypal probably ate about $20 (though I don't know), but whatever the effective total, it's basically more than October's total.  $1760 cleared in nine days.  Very cool.

July 2008 was when we had the big world gen update after several months of waiting.  I think that even if November's donation cap gets absurdly large, the next release (even if it is in December) will get a fair bit more then any other month.  And if we get the release in January or February, I expect it will be in the range of $5000 or more.

That said, I updated last month, so I'll wait a month or two before donating again.
