How about a game where there is no mafia, but the town doesn't know that.  The only way they win is if the town lynch the mod?

That shows up in a lot of bastard games, though... I actually hear it's quite common.

Well, I was sort of thinking of something like that- a mafia game where you are not informed how many mafia (or anything) there are, and you can vote to end the game. If mafia remain, they win, as the lynches are stopped...

I've heard of a worse game:  All townies, no mafia.  Mod tells them to hunt mafia.

The town wins if they no lynch twice in a row.

all-jester games are fun though. Especieally if they are all "exclusive-win" jesters: "You cannot win if someone else does", but they don't know it.

Make it public knowledge that a full half the game is cult leaders. Have the rest of the game be townies.

Hmm...I've never been a big fan of CCGs - I mean, I did and still do collect Pokemon cards, but I never got heavily into the battling and trading thing.

By definition that makes you a fan since you still buy them.

4 groups of players.  3 groups are scum with nightkills.  4th group is a miller group with a vig.

Goal of the scum is to eliminate the millers.  Goal of the millers is to get the mafia to lynch and kill themselves.

Lastly, no roleflip on death.


In truth that technically makes the millers the 'mafia' group and the mafia groups the 'town' but it's about as close as you can get.

Why you need that? They'll all flip Mafia Goon anyway. Just make the Miller a Death Miller.

AKk sorry I was thinking Masons, not millers.

No roleflip makes everything more frightful for the pack.  Even knowing that a roleflip is fake, it's a little comforting to see something.. just seeing.

"Litia had died"

provides instant uneasiness.  Thus, 3 masons, no role flip.
