Try Killing Floor on Suicidal difficulty with ten rounds.  What's great about it is it's a coop game so you have to try to coordinate with your buddies as well.

Finally, you might try Cat Mario. But it is hazardous to your mental health.

I have never seen a page that looks more like it wants to give me a virus.  D:

...ok. then how about en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Syobon_action which directs you to playthisthing.com/syobon, then click on "Download now."

Incidentally, this quote from the wiki describes it pretty well:

Quote
Syobon action しょぼんのアクション (also known as Cat Mario) is a 2D Japanese freeware video game notoriously known on the Internet for its extremely difficult levels. Many who have played the game for the first time could not make it past the first level. When Playthisthing.com reviewed the game, it had stated, "Syobon Action hates you. You’ll find this out the hard way: every jump, platform, mushroom, pipe... even the cloud in the background is out there to kill you. In time, you will hate Syobon Action."

There are loads of hard as fuck Super Mario World hacks. Kaizo Mario comes to mind, but there are others.

Hmm...I've never been a big fan of CCGs - I mean, I did and still do collect Pokemon cards, but I never got heavily into the battling and trading thing.

By definition that makes you a fan since you still buy them.

Only if you're using hepburn romanization. But presumably the author is a native japanese speaker, not a native english speaker, and thus uses kunrei-shiki romanization.

I have seen those(WHG and WHG2), and I doubt they could get much harder than N(Hint: user-made levels, and faster gameplay). Also, neither bothers to put a death limit or timer, do they? In N, if you win with one second left in the first level of an episode, do you think you can win?

Now if that was the fourth, and you forgot a second too late, so must restart the set of 5?
