About 7 months now. And my God, what happened to all the penguins? I know VN collapsed, and with it with penguin Declaration, but I haven't seen many around.

And wow, my title is still what it has been since I switched form my usual avatar. Funny, because I made a Halloweeny one based this one.  :D

i been lurking for 4 years and decided to be a member 3 years ago. Im on forum everday but i got nothing to say really. i prefer 2d version. adventure mode was more playerable with the undead ruins with a boss at the top of the temple, abandoned fortresses had 1000s of monsters and caves were kewl with cave rivers running through them and sometimes i found demons in. fortress mode was a challange with the first winter, less spending points, constant enemies that actually killed dwarves, copper first iron last and magma forges have to be on the magma river which was dangerous. But the next release will make a big difference to what i think since it will have constant monsters attacking from the underground + alot of extra stuff.

I'm glad to see there are lots of 'senior' members here..  and I'm sure for every member here since the DF release there are lurkers who have never been actively involved but still followed the community.

People will come and go, newbeards will become the oldbeards, and soon enough we'll all be talking about the old "3D Days of Dwarf Fortress, before all this 4D nonesense."

April 2008, so a little over a year and a half. Not very active on the Dwarf Fortress section of the forum as I used to be, but I like to keep afloat of how the next version is coming along.
