How long have you been on the Bay 12 Forums?
« on: October 29, 2009, 07:32:55 pm »

I haven't quite been on the forums for a year yet, but I can remember people who posted all the time in my first few months here who now are no longer active.

I've also noticed that in links to old posts, which may not be even a year old, that you will see members names that you've never seen before.

So I'm curious to see what kind of turnover rate we have here on the forums. I suspect it's pretty high (like most forums). Not really any deep motivation behind the poll other than that. Just curious.  :)

Also, I apologize up front if this poll has been done before. My searches didn't find anything similar.

Since March.  About six months, unbelievably, and I've been more or less continuously active.  I'm a sucker for simulations and constructions games.

I think that a lot of people will rematerialize with the new version.

As well, all the posts i've seen you make are flame posts, barely if at all constructive.

Technically a year ago, couple weeks ago. But I really started devoting more time to the forums since April, according to records.

Seeing as there isn't a 3/4's option; I'll round up.

Some of my posts from prev account (it became 'guest' for some reason) on bug board are dated as dec 2007, so it should be around 2 years, altho i was only reading devlog and FotF for most of the time.

Heh, yeah sorry. I was trying to get a wide enough spread without overdoing it..

While we are on the topic..  if any of the 5+ year veterans don't want to get lumped in with us short-timers, let me know and I'll put up a year lot for you.  ;)

Although, the only "ancient" members that come to mind are Toady One and ThreeToe.

Apparently over two years... have I really been playing DF that long already?

Although the registration is two years ago tomorrow, I was lurking for a while before that (~6 months or so, I think).
