What if you customized the name of your fort and the local government? I named my fort Furnacecanyon because most of the embark was hot and some was scorching and the brook cuts a small canyon through the mountain and named the local gov The Fire-Hammers of Doom. I wanted to use The Hammers of Fire or The Firey Hammers or something like that but it wouldn't let me. I chose fire because the place is hot, hammers because I want to go for a real military instead of marksdwarves only, and doom... because it sounded cool.
Sometimes the RNG produces wierd civilizations. For example, a dwarf civ in my current world is the Harmonious Fountains. By itself, the name is just odd, but look at their gods, all but ONE is male.
Their gods:
Istrath Crystalwayward, deity: earth, caverns, mountains, wealth, trade
Limul Paledye, deity: jewels
Lebes the Godly Eviscerator, deity: fortresses, war, chaos, thunder (VERY cool name though)
Up to that guy, the pantheon is normal, although there is a lightning god at the end of the list.
Aval the Pure Gladness of Peace, deity: forgiveness
Elcur the Guilty Dourness, deity: torture, misery
Alil, deity: happiness, revelry
Shilrar Primsister the Pregnant Intricacies, deity: song
Gamlat, deity: lust, depravity
Ilul, deity: rulership (this is the only female)
Kizest the Radiant Stance of Goals, deity: lightning
The rest of the civs are pretty normal in terms of the pantheons, but this one pops up as an odd one out for some reason. Maybe the over-emphasis on revelry or something.
