Man, I already own Scotland and most of France. Mainly because Scotland was piss poor and only had the generals bodyguard to defend their capitol, so I plunked away at them with four archer units.

I hope you that means that there's either a gigantic rebel army that isn't accounted for. It's either near Scotland's former capital, on Ireland, or on a pirate fleet. Good luck getting much trade income.

It doesn't matter much. I had plenty of income until turn 50 when i said screw it and mass produced knights to screw em over when I did that. As long as you get rid of a faction that can actively attack you right?

Ohh nothing is wrong with Russia except their location and the fact that their provinces are HUGE making advancement lengthy.

You conquered your way there? I just shove a few people on a boat. Where I have entire army's sing "I'm on a boat" in my head the entire way. Fun times to be had.

Also, is it possible for me to have a link in word form. So like I would write "Hi" and you could click it and be linked to a place?

The entirety of both Poland and Denmark is under my control, and Hungary is soon to follow. I conquered my way there, a furious storm of horse archers and dismounted Boyar sons.

Now I just need Cossak Musketeers. But I have set turns to last 6 months, so that should take a while. Technically, it's only been 60 years since I started.

Oh man what the fuck Ireland is hardcore. I had a fucking 200 man charge of mailed knights at a 40 man unit of Golganoths or w/e. I was left with 17 men. What the FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK.

Knights will not last long in hand to hand combat. They just won't, not if they're facing an equally skilled foe. If you didn't charge, pull out straight away, reform, and charge again until they were destroyed, then there's your problem.

I did dude. Charge, retreat, circle round to charge again. They just straight up shot lasers from their eyes to destroy my whole force.

Was it possible you were tripping balls whilst aforementioned laser shooting was occurring?

More seriously, wow. They must have literally cut the horses from under them.

Also, on a similar note, I lost so many battles because I didn't realize you needed to reform into formation before you charged them. That sucked so much. Charging is like a magma cannon. Unless you know how to use it, you're going to die.

Dude, I did it for a quest, because the reward was 8 stacks of the best unit I could make. I figure, hey, Lose 5 stacks of mailed knights, gain 8. Nope. They give me cogs. Cogs. Cogs. Cogs. Son of a -RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE.
