I just found chocolate with 99% cacao! WICKED! :D

The bad side is that it is 3 euro's for one bar of 100g, that's 4,5 dollar for the 65% amy's here. :)

My question to you all, what is the highest % chocolate you have ever tasted and what is your favorite? I personally only got to 70% (Just ate the last piece of that bar ^^) And loved it :D Perfect little nibble chocolate!

I eat 81% from time to time. Bitter as hell, but somehow it tastes great. Just don't eat it after something sweet ;)

Alse, 100% cacao that's pure cacao. No wonder it tastes bad. That cacao would've been better spent on a cup of hot chocolat...

I personally think 99% is the highest thing we can actually cal chocolate ^^

I actually guess I was bull-shitted and it is indeed 99%. Plus, it was on of those fancy Fine Food articles.

 Ever forced yourself to eat a cacao bean? Does that qualify as 100% cacao?

try real fudge, its like 33% cacao 33% heavy cream 33% sugar

haha, 99% is a nice maximum, I find 100% sound less cool :)

Yes, that would be 100% cacao, but not chocolate :)
Therefore 99% is the maximum, since you need some other ingredients to make chocolate.

Anyhow 80% is the highest I've gone and I'm not a big fan, I prefer white in small amounts of else milk chocolate.

Final percentage is sugar/cacao butter/whatever, something that makes it fit bar-form ^^

I had this awesome bar that had some popping candy and stuff mixed in to make it taste hotter a little while ago, it was at 60% and tasted great. Don't remember the brand or anything though.

Sofia, Lindt also happens to have a chili flavor chocolate, is that what you mean?
