Apparently the Nov. 6 Steam patch fixed my crashing problem, so I can play the demo now!  Yay!

I'm having big problems with the small click radius on pretty much every monster and item though.  Half the time I'm running in circles trying to stab a monster, until my pet finally finishes it off without my help.  It feels like that jungle level from Diablo 2...except it's EVERYTHING.  Also, you know how in D2, when you hold alt, the little text boxes that tell you where the items are DON'T overlap each other?  Yeah...  They made gold easy to pick up, I don't see why they didn't let you pick up items from fifteen feet away, too.

My pet keeps winding up on the wrong side of cliffs.  And upgrading active skills seems really stupid, because it's like, hey, you can take this 6-mana skill that does 40 damage, and upgrade it to a 7-mana skill that does 42 damage.  And you only have a mana tank of like, 30.  Why?

Despite these whaargarbls, I kind of like the game in spite of myself.  >_>  The oh-god-it's-so-hard-to-click is really getting on my nerves, but the Destroyer's default special attack makes it totally worthwhile, flinging seven guys away at once.

I have the same click problem, SOMETIMES, but not too much.

I trust the dev team and community to make this already good game great.

I'm expecting some fairly great changes from the devs- already in one patch they've done an awful lot, if you mention the click radius stuff to them I'm almost certain they'd put someone on it as soon as it's viable.

True.  I am, actually, -extremely- impressed by their patching so far.  I have a good feeling about the company.

Something like we love what we do and we will work on it not only to get paid but to make the game awesome?

So, uh.

Obviously, the version that's out now is singleplayer.
But what about the MMO?  Are people who bought the singleplayer version going to have to buy the MMO too?

MMO's free to play. My question is, will the MMO version carry over in any way from the singleplayer version? Plot, characters, progress? I'm really quite mystified.

I too am mystified, though I have my visions of what it might be like.

The town will probably be expanded in some way, maybe just a shopkeeper-type interface for matchmaking and going on quests with buddies. Also I imagine there will be some marketplace for the selling of the lewtz.

I dont imagine we will all be seeing each other running around town, but I could be wrong. I do notice lots of NPCs around the edges that I have not found a purpose for yet. Lots of room for expansion as far as I can tell.

Maybe there will be lots of smaller shards that are limited in the amount of players at any one time. I do see a need to differentiating between players who are on different play levels, and how loot interacts from those differing levels.

Hope we find out sooner than later.

I would like to take this opportunity to state...
Whaargarbls?  What?

But seriously, this game, continuing along the Diablo II comparison, was made with a tenth of the budget and a tenth of the manpower, in a tenth of the time.  Approximately.
It's just incredible for what it is, to me, at least.
Also, they've got an editor almost ready (as of the time of writing this post, they discovered one last minute bug that pushed the release date back from today to tomorrow) that is going to greatly expand and simplify modmaking.

The raw art assets are now downloadable, in advance of the actual editor for examination including all the characters and their assorted wardrobes, in MAX format. Very cool!

I kind of have trouble clicking on enemies too.  Also, for some reason Ember Lance likes to NOT actually fire when I cast it.  My guy shows the spell animation (standing with his hand out), and it'll deplete my mana, but I won't get any beam graphic or damage.
