There's a couple of things I could answer to that, most of which are about my upbringing and personal history.  I'm pretty sure that people are tired of hearing "Why Vector Is Screwed Up Today," so I'm not going to give you any more of a specific answer unless you really want it.  You have been forewarned.

Also, this is supposed to be your attempt at scumhunting?  Geez.

1. Mostly, it's that your sorry excuse for scumhunting was going to get you killed.  Especially because you just happened to show up when you were at L-1 again.  Totally convenient, right?

2. I haven't been explaining myself because I feel that people are probably sick about hearing about how I'm all weird and whatever.  They're probably going "Goddammit, get over yourself, Vector.  You're not that funkalicious.  Just shut up and play."  Except perhaps without the word "funkalicious" in there, because I seem to have made that one up.

You want to know why I apologize all the time?  I'm fine with telling you, but I wanted to check and make sure it was all right first.

I'm a person with social skills bad enough that I made my first friend when I was seventeen; I am close to twenty and now have two.  This forum is where I get pretty much all of my social interaction, because after being in college for a year and a half or so now I have not managed to make any friends.  As such I am always worried about people here becoming fed up with or angry at me (it seems to happen a lot).  If they get angry, I don't know anything to do but apologize profusely and hope they decide to like me again.  Further, I frequently cannot distinguish the difference between real anger and false anger.

So yes, Vector has a magical back-off button.  Don't abuse it.
