Actually, Vector's buddying with Org is really starting to bother me too. I see usual useless Org here, but Vector seems to be insisting that Org is town (how does he know?) in an attempt to buddy a weak player:
That said, you're still playing town, Org >_>
After all, if scum can win over a weak townie, they effectively get an extra vote...
Also, Vector, what's up with this?
No worries, I'll hammer you when it's hammertime.
If he's scum, YOU LYNCH HIM! What, are you trying to avoid looking like you're bandwagoning? Making sure noone will mind when you place the hammervote? What are you doing?
Bleh, I really need to clean up my town game.
First off, I know from experience that Org is pretty much impossible to win over. There is
absolutely no point in trying to buddy with Org and get him to vote with you. He may be a weak player, but he's not emotionally weak. The thing is, I don't want to lose this game because we kept lynching people who were "obviously scummy" but happen to be town.
And no, I am not 100% certain that Org is town. My opinion is rather solid, though, because he never plays like this as scum. I have never seen Angry Webadict Org when Org was scum; I have never seen him make these little attacks (instead he tries to make sweeping accusations, and fails horribly); I do not see him accuse anyone of buddying with him. This is, in my humble opinion, Org playing town. As such I'm trying to get people not to lynch him, because I think he's town. He was set up for a lynch D1, so I wanted to get my opinions on the table before another bandwagon formed.
If you think someone is scum, you lynch them. In a game with hammers, you wait to see if that person has some sort of defense for their behavior before landing the telling vote. I'm not trying to avoid looking like I'm bandwagoning--I honestly thought I had already voted for SirBayer. Note the previous comment about SirBayer having two votes on him and jumping that high? He had only Webadict's vote at the time.
If I were scum and wanted to get him lynched, I would have checked better to make sure there were actually two votes on him, rather than one (two is actually kind of jump-worthy when it means you're at L-1). Only one vote + jumpiness would have been better for me. But instead, I'm hoping he can explain why he's being a noob and turn around. If he can't, then he's scum. Hence the call for him to defend himself. We need more discussion today. We completely failed D1 because of a quick bandwagon on DirtyBirdy, so I am loath to just get things over with and lynch Bayer.
If he doesn't attempt to defend himself here, he's never going to learn how. Might as well let him get something out of the game before killing him.
Why do you want me to quick-hammer him so badly, anyway?
