David Thorne
« on: October 24, 2009, 10:03:47 am »

I stumbled upon this guy's site today and have spent the last hour reading through some of his articles.  They are hilarious.  Has anyone else heard of him?  He reminds me of my dad, if my dad wrote things on the internet instead of saying them out loud.

Basically he messes with people who are jerks, making them angry jerks, hence hilarity ensues.  Then he posts the results on his site.

You're quite right, he is hillarious! Kinda reminds m of Christopher Moore's style of writing fo some reason.

One day, we shall all look back on this, and laugh. Sorry about the face, by the way, and the legs, and the eyes, and the arms. In fact, sorry 'bout the whole body.

I find his site counter-intuitive.

He writes as other people? I don't know.

It's a mix of blog entries written as other people, weird stuff he writes as himself, and correspondences with people who send him hatemail.  The latter is the funniest.

I'm guessing the blog entries as other people are parodies of people...

I'd seen his spider thing before as a picture never knew where it was from though.

A copy of that picture sold for 15,000 dollars on eBay.

I wish I had David Thorne's wit.  I would get so many girls I'd have to kill them and grind them up into fertilizer to hide the bodies.

This man is quite funny. I give him my quiet approval.

I am sure this means the world to him.

I love him and want to touch his beard.

On another note: Humor is such a vile thing nowdays, but it seems that this has made me laugh more than I have in a long, long time.

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

I personally wonder how much is real. The bit about drowning eight kittens is rather prominent in my mind.
