Wagons in solid rock wall

I missed it when this actually happened but when I went to check on the human wagons I found that two of them were stuck in a natural rock wall. Right before a kobold showed up near where they were passing through.  ???

The red circles are where they overlap with the wall.

I was not playing with any mods besides a graphic set. I am using 40d.

Wow, they shouldn't have even tried to path through that 2-tile gap...

I'm guessing it has something to do with the ramps...  Do you have any floors built over their heads on the z-level above this?  Maybe they got caught in a one-way ramp trap or something.

Wagons behave a bit weirdly with respect to walls. There's actually a trick you can pull to get the animals pulling the wagon to step through a wall (and e.g. into a pool of magma) while the wagon itself stays in perfectly logical terrain:

This is presumably one of the reasons why multi-tile creatures haven't been made yet: Toady still needs to figure out the logic to get them to move sensibly.

Couple related bugs that don't seem to quite encompass this one:

# 000869 □ [dwarf mode][trade]   (Report) wagon gets stuck on wall that was under construction
# 000850 □ [flows] (Report) wagon pullers that stick out through the walls into magma in narrow ramped areas are burned
