Playing another creature / race in adventure mode
« on: October 22, 2009, 07:02:01 pm »

How do you do it? I looked at the wiki but it was hard to find a topic on it

I know if Have to put some kind of tag in the Creature ini. But what do I put in. Is there anything specific I need to do?

Thanks

Actually, the creature needs an ENTITY block with an ADVENTURE_TIER line. See entity_default.txt in your raw/objects folder. EDIT: Also http://www.dwarffortresswiki.net/index.php/Modding_guide

I noticed that this question comes up quite regularly, although not frequently.  I even raised it myself. It promptly fell of the page without a single answer.
