Don't do that.  Ask her out.  Do it face-to-face, not by email, telephone, or anything else that makes you feel safe in your little hidey-hole.  If you're not willing to go through a little bit of fear for her, she's clearly not worth it to you.

And yeah, I am experienced in this.  It's a horrible idea.
