Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

It's a lot more interesting on the other side of that equation, trust me. :D

What, a lot of ex girlfriends, not a lot of friends?

This is highschool. I've had plenty. Just, only one I had long enough for them to have the great depressing break-up phases. Hate that stuff.

But, this isn't "let's talk about Tack's ex-girlfriends" thread, so anyway. Back to hobocherub's GF problems?

I meant: I've been in that kind of situation, but on the other side. Dealing with an asshole ex-boyfriend of one of my friends. Not fun for him at all.

Ouch. My opinion of you dropped slightly, then rose as I realised you wouldn't say "asshole" without a perfectly justified reason.

Christ. We're talking like grade-schoolers. With perfect grammar. And sentence structure...

brother from another mother

Okay fine, I got trolled.

I use that term in all seriousness to describe what a girl might call my "bff." We basically are like brothers but from other mothers so hence the term

Ahh, to be young again and inebriated with teenage hormones and the self-confidence issues that come with it. How I miss those days...
Not realy, actualy.

I'm joking offcoarse, so don't worry, I'm not making fun of you. :)

But as far as advice goes; Are you intrested in this girl? If not, I wouldnt worry too much about it.
If you are, it seems like she has noticed you and she's a bit nervous/shy when you're around. It's a good sign, altough in my experience you shouldnt get your hopes up too much.

Some more "evidence" for you Relationship Themed brains to stew over. I was talking with her friends today during our lunch brake. She didn't really stare at me for long durations of time, but the little glances that she did give me were accompanied with a hint of a grin. I, unfortunately, did not have the guts to talk to her privately though :(

Rather than having them directly force you to mine adamantine, I would suggest that they give you strange moods that require adamantine. "Dig out the adamantine or Urist here goes insane and dies" is suitably vicious.

(It occurs to me that you can probably get "Lovecraft" as the random name of your fortress. That's when you know you're screwed.)

Advice from someone who found this thread rather amusing;

 - Don't over-think things too much. Being the age you are you're going to anyway, but at least try not to. Despite what I've read in this thread, there'll be plenty of other women in your life, this really isn't as big a thing as you might be making it.

 -  In the same vein, if you're wondering what she's thinking your best bet is to ask her at an appropriate time. Trying to analyze her stares at lunch won't tell you anything useful.

 - If you really think she's dumb and can't find any sort of intelligence (perhaps different to yours) then maybe she's not the one for you. It really comes down to if you actually enjoy being around her or not. Also, just keep in mind, girls like humble blokes.

From what you've told us, I'd probably wonder if she thinks.
