Here are some details.  Its strange I ran into this today, since I just started re-reading it.  Its even stranger that i ran into considering I found it on a mostly political blogsite.  gofigure.

I am thinking this might actually be pretty good, considering who they are getting for the massive cast.  Also, since they are planning the first season for telling the story from book 1, they can get a LOT of content into it.  But i am still afraid of what they might change....

Will it go in the movie?
I doubt they'll put the huge amount of political-incorrectness in it.

I don't know if it's going to turn out as good as it should.

It's been a few years, but I recall that book having a lot of violence and a fair bit of incest. Then again, it's HBO, so they might do a decent job of it. Don't recognize most of the cast, though it has a few good faces. Also, can't remember why I never finished that series...

Something to keep an eye on, at least. Might be good.
