pierced lungs from shield bash? 40d

i bashed a monster in the upper body and mangled it
both lungs and it heart were pierced by the attack,it liver was bruised.
shoud there be text saying that the monsters rib where shatterd in to the lung and heart?

Agree, plus that's about the LAST thing *I* want to see from this kind of game - author spending valuable development time on useless graphics.

In the next version, you should see text like that.

Either you used the edge of your shield or it happened like you described.
