How anticlimactic.

Yeah. Nuke used his kill to shake things up and targeted the person Dak mimicked. It was all bad.

Pity, this was really quite promising until that lucky kill happened.


Makes me want to start my own bastard mod mafia.

The key to good bastard mod, I think, is that it's possible to counter the bastardry.

Org was the only one who lied to his "Kitty Cell" partners about his own role's name and the names of its abilities in case he got switched with the Webadict.

Once it hit anyone else, it would have been easy for people to go "Oh hey, my partner's role just flipped, let's lynch himmmm!" due to Vector's idea - I was delighted to see he found a solution to the problem and I was highly disappointed it ended in such an anticlimactic manner.

Yeah; it's the same with any puzzle game. You want the puzzle to be clever and tricky, but ultimately solvable, even if solving the puzzle requires thinking outside the box (like voting for the mod to be lynched).

I've just been tossing ideas around in my head, like someone suggested a mafia where there's 12 people, 3 teams of 3 Mafia and 1 team of 3 Masons, Masons goal is to make the Mafia lynch each other (so it's kind of like reverse Mafia). If you then either remove roleflips or add reverse roleflips (Mafia flip town, Masons flip mafia) that has the potential to be great fun, but requires that none of the players know what's going on, so it's an idea i'll have to hold onto until later when everyone's forgotten about it.


Hmm, i wonder, i just had a rather interesting idea inspired by this very Mafia, hmmmm.

That's... that's just wrong in so many different fashions!

*sob*  I finally FINALLY get to be scum and was able to keep everyone off of me.  When the cells showed up, I had the perfect alibi and it worked! I was even worried that Org would slip by since he was being so secretive and he did just what I wanted.

To be fair; if anyone was going to get Webadict, it was going to be the Jester; that is one seriously jacked up role, i love it.

The Survivor and Jester were necessary - the Webadict was naturally going to draw heat in any case, and there had to be someone who didn't care about outcome as long as he lived and someone who wanted to look more scummy than the Serial Killer to balance things out.

Dakarian, you have no excuse to cry compared to me. I spent stupid amounts of time thinking all of this up and on night 2 the Jester randomly kills you.

Tha's why you need randomised role generators; makes generating roles easy, but at the same time no matter how many games you run, nobody knows what the roles are.

I have to say though; you had some clever stuff in there XD

Keep in mind, I had to make a balanced game where EVERY ROLE WAS ACRYONYM'd TO THE LETTERS J O A T (or the jokes, the GOAT, the JOTE, and the Joe. A. T.)

I did make a reasonably balanced game, you would agree, correct?

The game just rocked, that's why it's so painful to have it just go like that. 

Funny thing: the two side roles actually drove the game.

i.e. I was the survivor and when I saw that vote count I went "wait... I can't die here!" and jumped off.  THAT was what triggered the conversion.

Meanwhile..well.. we saw the jester. 

The game just rocked and makes me want to play another well made bastard.

Oh well. 

Btw, Pandar, it was one day, but I want that rating on how I did .

Ok.. you need to explain just HOW you picked up on just about everything. 

At one point it was just eerie.

It fitted my 'lynch me before webadict' thing; given that I couldn't advocate 'webadict=webadict, defended by WIFOM alone' or 'someone else is webadict', the only remaining option was 'webadict=webadict but lynching him is bad'. The variant thereof I advocated seemed the most likely.
I had no idea it was correct. Heck, I wish it hadn't been, because then you wouldn't have tried to keep me alive day 2, as you would have known me to be what leafsnail claimed I was.
