My vote still lies with sea otters, but having never seen a river otter in real life I am willing to concede this point.

Baby Albino Koala = win.

Crazy.  Just tonight I was discussing how cute spiders and cephalopods can be.

Jumping spider.  They have great personalities too!  They're totally harmless to humans, intrigued by everything, will jump between your hands and then bungee down on silk, and generally got mad game.

Baby cuttlefish.  Unlike octopuses, they're highly social and not very scared of humans.  The adults are badasses, but they also have their tender side.  Unfortunately they don't live in the oceans around the States, so I probably won't get to swim with them anytime soon.

I've recently been playing a Half-Life 2 mod where the headcrabs have been modded into giant poisonous tarantulas who move without a sound and attack without warning.  Also, they move in packs and hide in impossible-to-see areas.

So, until I get over playing that, I F*ING HATE SPIDERS.  WAAAUGH.


And cuttlefish are meanies...  It's the octopuses who are the real cool dudes.  They're much smarter than the other tentacly thingies.

I mean, just look at that poor little octopus in the first clip!  See how it was playing with those tools?  How can you not fall in love with something like that.

I feel for the poor Octopus in the first Cuttlefish vidja. He just came out to steal the ladies spanner and that Cuttlefish totally crashed the party. Poor Octopus.

Octopi are also awesome, Cuttlefish aren't nearly as awesome, although they do get points for looking like Cthulhu.

Koala stay cute their whole lives... At least as long as they arn't attacking you

Though yeah I am noticing a trend that this thread seems to be almost entirely about Babies or Non-cute animals in cute poses.
