Meh, we don't celebrate halloween in our area of Australia.
And shame on those who pull religion into a good holiday.

Let me tell you a secret.

There are two Halloweens.  There are two Easters.  There are two Christmases.  Each one happens on the same day as its counterpart.  In each pair, there is a religious holiday, and a non-religious holiday.  The non-religious holiday is always the one with more popular traditions.  You do not need to be Catholic or even Christian to celebrate non-religious Halloween, Easter, or Christmas , as those are both about different things than there religious counterparts.

Now go buy some candy! And (please for the sake of the forum) forget the subject of religion even came up.

it's usually me or one of my buddies that hosts a pretty wild party on Halloween. probably me this year since it got a bit too crazy at ****'s house, he had about 300$ of damage because some idiot thought it would be funny to light up the booze.

PAGANS BITCHES!
FUCK YEAH PAGANISM!

Anyway, I'm going to run around town screaming while wearing the most pathetic ghost costume around.

But we'll make up for it with character.  ;D

I have a sweet Hasidic Jew costume leftover from Purim. I'm hoping there'll be a good Halloween party to wear it to since I have like no friends left in this city but I want to rock it

I'm most likely going for a stroll with a couple of friends after dark, maybe hang around a graveyard.
I'm definitely not going to do anything unwholesome with the corpses I'm not going to dig up.

Since I'm an atheist, I reckon it's only fair to steal all the festivals but leave out all the crap bits. If I'm going to hell anyway, I may as well eat festival food all my life.

I so damned badly want to act again, so I'll be walking around with costume, but no mask, it kills the acting part of it.

...Um, that is the smell of YOU getting burned from less than ten posts up.

I've never really gotten into Halloween. Most of my friends go door-to-door individually, or not at all. Some people go to parties, but I never do because I usually don't have the money to buy a costume or the motivation to make one.

That being said, I'll probably spend this Halloween as I did the past two or three years: sitting at home alone playing my brother's DS, eating the candy I'm supposed to hand out, and cursing loudly whenever the doorbell rings.
