Magma Production question

would it be possible to mod it so that a dwarf could craft magma at a smelter? If so what would be the line of code for it?

Very likely this would result in a 'glob' of magma substance which would set fire to whatever was in that square but do little else. It is similar to how ice 'stones' melt and leave a small puddle, not usable water.

well I was wondering if we could mod in teh magma at the smelter. make the smelter out of magma safe stuff. then have an experienced furnace operator go at it and hopefully have it become cluttered.

when it is cluttered sufficently then you deconstruct the smelter for the lulz.

I just cant find the magma entry in the raws.

No. As has been explained above, this at best won't work, and at worst won't work.

Many materials such as magma, ice, vomit, etc are hardcoded right now.

As much as we would love to create a Vomit Pipe full of Vomitmen and Chunk Imps, and pressurize it to explosively flood the nobles' quarters ...
