Very simple. The name should explain it all. I'll kick it off.

Because of Half-Life 1&2 I am terrified of vents. I'm afraid of the headcrabs that always go 'kreeeeee!' and shoot out at you.

 Because of horrible, horrible habits of other students at a younger age(You SHOULD know this already!) I now find myself looking back on highschool being marred by their influence keeping me from asking questions, thus keeping me from learning.

 Now in college things are very smooth. I suppose my three years of homeschooling have manned me up to overcome that crap.

 Because of Team Fortress 2, I cannot have my back exposed. Ever. I must see everywhere all the time. I never have earphones turned on loud enough to drown out footsteps. I must be able to dodge any knives that make their way to my back.

 Also, pocketknives must always be within my sight.

Because of FPS in general I have to fight the urge to strafe past open doors. Passing open doors without looking in first means that I could get kill by an unknown enemy.

Because of Dwarf Fortress, I am able to tell the difference between Indigenous and Androgenous rock. I also now use "Plump Helmet" in casual conversation.
