Alright playing medieval 2:total war kingdoms (Third age total War mod)

Just beat my alltime high score for number of prisoners captured in one battle(originally around 800 now 1076)

AND I CAN'T REMEBER HOW TO TAKE SCREENSHOTS!

Hit print screen, then alt-tab out of the game, open up paint or another graphics program and edit->paste. That should work.

Killed them all?

I usually ask ransom( don't know if possible in that mod), which keeps me clean, rarely gives some money, and foten ends with the murder of prisoner. Which is now enemy's fault ;)

I kill prisoners during the battle when i know i am going to lose or when i capture a king. King gives lots of money, but more of the leadership you cut, better it is. After some work on that side, you might see a civil war.

A question: was this battle the equivalent of endgame knights against an army of peasants and farmers? You killed a lot with your men, and you lost little.

Generals Bodyguard:1 size:(30) Stats:CB:7 A:10 D:14 Experience:TGC
General: Ten Star

I had a pretty good defense position (even though i was on the low ground).
My generals calvary kept the archers from tearing up my troops.
One of my gondor militia killed the enemy general, causing a loyalty cascade.

oh, general was killed early. That surely helps a lot, i had several hard defeats turned into glorious victories by the death of enemy general. If your general has 10 stars, i can guess most of the battle was you running after enemy soldiers who were escaping.

Still, very good battle. It is rare to win a battle against an enemy who outnumbers you so much.
But I usually let the computer do the battle when i think it is lost, so i am not an expert on this :P

I think Rome:Total War had a fairly decent LOTR mod too.

I usually ransom prisoners just because it's more efficient. If they pay me 1,000 florinbucks for 500 decent men, I can destroy those 500 again for only 200 or 400 florinbucks worth of my own.
I only execute people when I care more about my time and less about turns. Oh yeah, and mongols. Fuck the mongols.
