Oh, and lots of Lego.
I think I need not say that those will likely be a part of my entire life, rather than merely my childhood.

Alternately: The Brick Testament. It's a really fun look at what the bible would look like if interpreted literally. With Legos.
Just so I remember

I thank god that I'm not the only one who's still playing with lego.

I'd still play with it, but my terrible memory ensures that I have long lost all the pieces that I used to posses.

I'm sad about that.

I've got several crates of assorted Lego pieces scattered around...  There are four of them stacked on top of each other in my closet just now.

I very, very rarely ever play with them anymore though.  There's only so much satisfaction to be had when you're just sitting in your room, alone, and building something that you'll inevitably have to clean up at some point later on.

I might stick a few pieces near my bed though, so I can doodle around on the nights when I'm not feeling particularly tired.

I had a crate full of assorted lego pieces. I gave them away to the kid brother of a friend of mine. A week later I had regrets.

Ugh.  Mego Blocks are the devils spawn, without a doubt.  Most of the pieces have very low compatability with normal bricks, so you can't really built much other than what they intend the pieces to make.

The Mega Blocks dragons sets were awesome, but other than that I didn't care for them.

Not only is it not actually advertising anything, it's just copy/pasting word salads about gold, runescape, oil, yuan, and handbags.  It's like a transporter accident combined all the spambots into one shambling mass of online sales.

Guys.
Ash from Pokemon has turned 22.
Fuck I feel so old.

I remember watching the highlander animated series. I was like, six, and I had to stay awake untill the wee hours of the morn', but sweet god that show was worth it.
I didn't understand the plot, but EXPLOSION LIGHTBEAM SWORDFIGHTIN RAMEREZ

The first videogame I ever played without invincibility was donkey kong country. The rhino died on me man, he died on me.

Looking back at reboot, it makes me shudder to think about the repercussions of playing games in that world.
WINNING NULLIFIED LARGE AMOUNTS OF YOUR SYSTEM. ALSO THE COMPUTER REALLY CHEATS. BOB IS THE ESSENCE OF "What the hell? How's that happen?!? I HAET THIS GAEM"

I loved DOS games. FOUR WHOLE SHADES OF GREY. AWESOME.

Disney movies were awesome. They taught you about mortality in a fun and colourful setting. Easier to grasp than the real life kind. Mufasa's death made millions of children more secure about death.

...What does this generation have? Disney is all about pushing HOT YOUNG MUSICIANS on the youth of today, so what is there to be Mufasa for them? Is Hannah Montanna's brother going to bite the dust? (PLEASE GOD NO HIS JOKES ARE THE ONLY FUNNY ONES, WITHOUT THAT THE SHOW WOULD BE LIKE CHEWING MORE TINFOIL)

Screw you I re-winded the VHS so his eyes opened back up and that was the end of the movie. They are still alive to this day, living a happy lion life with Simba still a young cub.

but in seriousness we need more movies like this. But so long as parents get prissy over Where The Wild things Are because it makes their children uncomfortable then it will never see production.

I have only one object that truly, truly brings back childhood memories.

Klonoa: Door to Phantomile for the PlayStation.

I broke it out a few weeks ago just for the nostalgia, and, do you know what? It was just as good as I remembered. :)
