Um, do we control our allies?

Is the game still open to applicants? If not, can I go on the waiting list, please?

No, unless someone suddenly decides to play Yuri. After all, in any proper apocalypse, survivor vs survivor dynamic is important. Of course, in many cases people are going to end up with other survivors (controlled by myself and by other players) eventually. People like to have leaders, so if your character takes charge, the sheep will tend to follow them. Of course, if you're playing Private Joe and you meet up with a squad commanded by Captain Strife, don't expect to be able to tell the good Captain what to do. Expect to be told (for better or worse) what to do instead.

I've decided not to let this game remain open for applicants (I'm at double the original capacity right now), at least until I've ran a few turns and seen how it works out time wise for myself (running the game for a few people is better than abandoning it for everyone). However, if I do let more people in, the tittle'll change to something gaudy.

In the meantime, RAM graciously offered his character up to be used by more than one person. I recommend that anyone who would like to co-play Mary to PM him.

tehstefan has expressed an interest in joining me in Mary's head and is welcome to do so. We are still trying to figure out exactly how to coordinate this and any suggestions would be welcomed by me.

ooc: What country are we in? Most military bases I have seen in the U.S. have a basic swinging arm gate that you would find at most toll booths. Along with retracting spikes to stop any cars. Well guarded of course.

Midwestern US. If you really like, you can do a bit of digging and find out which US city it is.
