Author Topic: Question regarding total and core artifact quality options for stockpiles.  (Read 509 times)

Basically I'm wondering if artifacts can be decorated (I doubt it as the dwarves probably treat them like holy relics) or does total quality not apply to artifacts because they can't go any higher and neither can an ordinary object be made an artifact?

I know the answer is an obvious no, but I'm just checking out of curiosity since I'm setting up my artifact stockpile and was just thinking about the total value as having artifact as an option but it doesn't really make sense (and probably has no effect).

As an aside, is there even such a thing as artifact bolts? lol. If they did exist, they would probably make the creator go insane just from thinking about whether it MIGHT get destroyed or not.

No, you can't decorate artifacts, neither can an ordinary object be made into an artifact through decorations.
Having an artifact option in the stockpile values does make sense, how else would you make an artifact only stockpile?

I'm not sure if there are artifact bolts, but there definitely should be:
