I keep thinking glacier fortress would be fun, but it always ends up as cave layer fortress.

Uh, me turn now?  Why don't we just postpone it till after Christmas?  Hortun, would you be able to take your turn then?  Because, I've got stuff going on the next few days like most people do.  So, it's probably the best idea to hold a few days, and step back to Hortun, if he/you want/s to go.

sir labreck gets his new computer on christmas (I think), so I guess after Christmas we can simply pretend that the 12 day gap between my finishing and the next person starting didn't happen.

Oops, lost my post.  I'll try to replicate.

Oh hell.  I've recieved a letter that I've been assigned the position of overseer of a fortress called "Screamtortures."  Pleasant name, but I don't really know how to operate a fortress.  My father says the local cats'll just do anything I say, no matter how stupid or suicidal, though, so hopefully I can manage to just get through my term without any major losses of life and get back home.

   Hrm, the last overseer left me a little present, I see.

I've determined from the documents avaliable on this one that she's probably screaming for blue garnets, since everything she's asked for is around somewhere.  I'll just be sealing up that room for good measure.  I've heard this place has bad luck with mayors.

While I was examining the defenses, I noticed we had an empty pillbox, and in another we had enough parts for one more catapult, so I ordered its construction.  Moments later, I also noticed this:

I will admit, I don't know much about modern defensive technology, but why a turtle?  I suppose I'll trust the seige engineers, though.

I also noticed this mining plan for the odd tunnels between the ponds.  I'm not exactly sure what the plan was for this little area and will be sending a letter to the previous overseer.
Alright, didn't get much done yet, just figured out that I most likely won't find any blue garnets short of trading.  I'm going to take some time to try to figure out what the plan was with all this, and stuff like that lever outside.  Something about a waterfall.
