Well, that depends on how many miners people use. Sure, if there's only one miner for most of the game, all of a sudden there won't be any miners anymore. But if people do something sensible like take a child and set it to work on a specific task as soon as it comes of age, then after a year or two of training you'll have a legendary cat for 15 years or so.

So, of course, it'll be funnier when nobody does that. I can just imagine the shouts of "Holy crap, all of our champions died of old age!"

Not to mention that it's likely to make tantrum spirals just that much more likely...  :-X

Someone will need to get legendary bed room, hall, etc. for everyone, just to keep them  happy :D A waterfall maybe, a couple of pump is enough and could be self powered :D

Yeah, actually, if no one do it, I'll get everyone a legendary"...", as a noble, The noble will have crap and normal people will have noble room  ???

Um... I think you forgot something important...

Turns switch off in Autumn. You've only been going half a year.
Facepalm

So thats why it went so fast. I didn't bother to check the date when I started, and just thought I just had missed the season announcements when winter rolled in. Not to mention being used to save and send when the spring announcement pops up.

Okay I just got the spring and summer done. It took me longer this time, not because I had trouble in the fort, but because the year was Bore-Tastic. I only got two tiny gobbo ambushes and the other one retreated before my military could even get to them. I did get some migrants, who all have rooms now. The only casualties were an useless potash maker and a (stray)kitten. The military has been expanded, though most of them are still quite inexperienced and we still have no forges online thanks to the magma filling up so slowly (however the area is now 1/7 at least, so it will eventually fill up)

I started the construction of a pipeline for the water in the southern brook, but alas, autumn came before it was completed. I also built a new statue garden, a small housing area for the poverty and the tower I made outdoors is still standing.

The save

I thought I'd never get to see my turn. Hopefully, my save will be here by the end of the week.

And the succession game will be obsolete because of the new major update xd!

With a little luck, I'll play my turn on Christmas  ::)

I guess this makes it my turn next. Just in time for my return.

I was caught in snow and was trapped on the train for 25 hours, and only just got back to my computer.

When is the next major release scheduled to come out, by the way? It sounds like it's gonna be pretty awesome when it does hit.

Hm, I switched your turn with AlienChickenPie's since I wasn't sure when you'd be back. ACP, have you started yet? If not, we should switch back, but if you've started already, well, this'll prolly go faster than Year 3... :P

For the release, no official date... Just it would be somewhere in December or January. Check the to do list if you want your own idea ^^

Couple things to note.

Why the hell is the shared cage holding the Sheriff? Why can't I get him out? I'm confused.
Also, take note that the current broker has no Appraisal skill, while the aforementioned caged Sheriff is Competent.
Also, I approve of the current military situation. Leather-clad wrestlers in large numbers are very catlike. Some of them even have the nervous injuries befitting a true feline warrior. The only caveat I have is, some of them aren't fully armored. There are 14 pieces of leather armor and 13 leggings to split among 20 soldiers/hunters. And a shit-ton of helmets and boots.

That said, thank you Servu and good luck darkflagrance! Kick some dwarven booty. And, y'know. Remember the traps.
