My dwarves REFUSE to spar. (Nvm Found out)
« on: October 13, 2009, 12:11:37 pm »

Ok so begining of the game I made two peasents into sparring partners, They got good at wrestling I give them obsidean short swords, One hurts the other to the point they need to rest, I take both out of military and make the unhurt one a hunter,  the one heals and I turn them both back into military.

They REFUSE to go ANYWHERRE near the barracks now.  Unless they go to sleep.  They wont spar at all.
I've even tried taking the sword away.

Any ideas? Do they distrust each other after the accident or what?

EDIT: I found out the one dwarf has a SLIGHT very slight as in light light brown neck injury preventing him from sparring.. Thats screwy :c Oh well Guess he can go back to being a stonecrafter and I'll have to wait for my next wave of imagrants.

Aye but I'm still on my first seven dwarves, It happened pretty quickly too.  Actually Im thinking it was a fight with a fire imp I just realized he was my hunter,  Poor fellow. He was the one I choose to be one of the first two champions.

HIJACK!

I've got nine champion dwarves for my military.  I'm in the process of training them through all the weapons, for no good reason.

Seven of them spar fine.  Two do not.

One was totally noninjured.  Turns out, she was holding some leather armor in the same hand as her weapon, kept her from using it.  Ok, dumped, that's fixed.

The other is missing his right eye, but has no other injuries.  Does a missing eye keep you from sparring?  He's not holding extra equipment in his hands, so I imagine that that must be it...

Also, you can manufacture vomit at a smelter.  Subsequently removing the smelter spews vomit over a surprising area.
