It's when someone completely abandons the game.  Rather than just showing up once a day (typically considered lurking), they stop showing up for several days in a row.  Stuff like that.

Prodded = You had to fling a prod at them and they posted. 

multiple prods: You had to keep sending prods to keep the person going, but each time you sent one they posted. 

Flake = The person dissapeared: no response to your prod, no request for replacement.  This will be true even if you found a replacement or the game ended before a replacement could be found.


Typically, if you had to prod them, but they died soon after, I consider them 'prodded' since you aren't really sure they would've shown up in time if they lived.
