Btw, I'm pondering the idea of a partial 'reset' when the new year hits.

Before the initial fuss: this thread is NOT meant to be some 'all time standing of who played.  It's meant for one major purpose: see who will flake your games.  As such, it doesn't really matter if you've flaked every game from January to June if you are active in every game since then.  The reverse is true too: a person who earned 20 karma the first half of the year can still flake the second half of the year.  Past history works..to a POINT, but beyond that it's meh.

As such, I'm thinking that, at the end of the year, this thread is archived and a new, 2010, system is put up.  It won't be a COMPLETE clean slate, but everyone gets their stars back and everyone will be close to a level playing field. 

That way, when you see someone at high karma, you know they aren't riding on their past when they were active every day. 

It'll also mean I can make tweaks and adjustments to the system to make it more accurate (like how Prods are handled).

Again, if you're concerned about 'losing your prestigue' then you've been reading this thread wrong .  This is about attendance, not about showing how much a Pillar of the Community you are.
