Who doesn't mutilate themselves and suffer agony daily in order to experience new sensation?

If I could regenerate my "limit" would probably be much higher. Although considering that sleep paralysis doesn't horribly maim you its not a very costly experience.

It seems like quite the bargain to me.

Me. If I want to experience something new I usually just eat something different.

Ah, sleep paralysis, the cause of many an afternoon wake-up.

Everything is pleasurable to a Slaaneshi, especially sound (Which is where noise marines come from) but after a while their senses become dulled so only the most extreme sensations get them off, driving them to greater and greater heights of depravity.  That's why their armor is so crazy-colored, because even sights are pleasurable and one really deep into it can only see the most garish colors.

I guess so. I mean, I can see where you're coming from with wanting to experience sleep paralysis, but I sort of got sidetracked into talking about Shaaneshi cultists a while back and I don't really care now.

You probably don't want to. Even if you find any, it'd probably violate the rules to post them here.

Imagine them as horrific, bloated, scarred sacks of flesh.

Well, no new friends, but it was enjoyable and probably filmed, so hopefully I'll be able to see it again.

It's just you've mentioned before that you want to experience things most people could live with not experiencing. I don't really think you're a masochist.

Also, a Slaneeshii cultist is from Warhammer 40k (oh, and I spelt it wrong). They're desperate to feel sensations, any sensations and will go to any length to feel something new, no matter how horrific.
But life would be boring if you were always feeling the same sensations over and over.

I think you may be missing the point here. Setting yourself on fire is a sensation. Cutting off your testicles with a red-hot knife is a sensation. Cutting yourself and rubbing vinegar into the wound is a sensation.

Sure, life is boring when you feel the same sensations over and over but there's a limit.
Well, it dson't sound boring...

No. Just agonizing.

And we've all been in the state of 'agonizingly bored'. So. On to experimentation!
