Avast constantly fails to find the rest of this god damn virus that is obviously there from the cpu usage.

Then again there might not really still be a virus there and Im just paranoid.

There is a virus. It makes you sad, you are paranoid.

If one program fails, try another.

I usually use these in sequence. Avast!, Malwarebytes, Spybot Search and Destroy.

If none of them can find an issue, be sure to optimize your drive, and/or do a registry/scandisk check/cleaning, and scan once more. I advise using CCleaner or Revo Uninstaller to handle the uninstall of any malicious software installed. Revo is more thorough for the job. It actually managed to clean out a serious issue Avast wasn't able to remove before (when I figured out the source on my own; no thanks to prior scanners).

I consider over-sleeping a waste of life.

Unless there is a cat sitting on me.

It isn't a voluntary thing, he immediately jumps on me the second I sit or lay down.
He will then proceed to lay there for the next six hours until he gets hungry, and then will return after he finishes eating.

He is currently splayed across my bed, waiting for me to go back.

Keep in mind this is a big(he is about as long as my bed is wide when laying across it) fat orange cat that weights a good deal, thus making you fairly immobile when resting apon you.

I have been absent from my computer for too long. Much too long.

There has been a distinct lack of sexy frog hereabouts.

I agree, there needs to be much more sexy frog around this place.

My cat just sleeps on the end of my bed making it hard to sleep.
But in the morning she comes up to me and tries to wake me up, smells my face and starts taking my arm and rubbing back and forth, shaking my arm to wake me up. Then if I don't get up, She lays down and stares at me constantly until I do wake up.

My slippers emit a stench like the breath of satan. I'd take them off, but my feet would freeze.

I did. I tried avast, malwarebytes, and various online engines.

I think the virus is gone, I have rationalized the CPU speed change becuase of avast itself. Its not really that bad though.

Also wow you guys let your cats walk all over you, whenever my cat trys to lay in my bed I just pick her up and throw her out of the room.

She is so damn persistant though, its like she has nothing better to do then try to invade my room all day.

They don't.
Spice will claw at my door for fifteen minutes straight if he wants in or out.

I like my cats very much, and they like me as well.
I don't punish my cats for being affectionate, I punish them for going on the table or stealing the toilet seat to use as a throne.

I like my little space heaters keeping my bed warm. Really a good help when it's freezing cold out, and I want the bed nice and cozy, all of them huddle onto my bed.

I put my feet on the radiator and now I can't escape from the slippers of hell-stench.
It smells like charging rooms at schools mixed with rancid Parmesan.

Both of my sisters are out of town 'till the new years. It's just me and my parents.

This remaining week is going to suck.

Put some blankets on your feet. Throw those things in the garbage.
