That gets to me the same way. It evens out in the way that if many people I know are happy, I can mellow out if I'm sad or angry. Not quite be totally happy myself, despite, but a sort of elevated level of chill. Shame that doesn't happen often.

Started a really good fort, about a year in, when i got development underway, i just happened to dig into a Glowing fucking Pit and unleased fire spirits upon my dwarfs. It sucked. I cried.

I'll really miss you guys! I was looking forward to Sofia and the rest on steam this weekend too.

Sad that work is a pain, and my cos-play may not be ready for the con.  Upside is that if not, it'll be ready for the next con, when it won't be so damn cold.

Knowing the weather around here, I may have just jinxed it to be 90 in 2 days.
