Nah, most of the historians i've read generally accept that the bombs were unneccessary; Japan never expected to win the war. It's possible the bombs prevented the start of an invasion of the mainland, but unlikely, as records indicate the Japanese were already preparing to surrender when the bombs were dropped.
It's been said that the Americans really, really didn't like the idea of Japan coming under communist control, and thus dropped the bombs to prevent the Soviets from invading.  Not sure if I agree with this sentiment though.

Sorry to hear about your jacket, Jude.  I really like my leather jacket too.

Leather jackets?

Bah, Humbug.

A pinstripe jacket, thinner pinstriped black shirt with the sleeves rolled up, dark Jeans and a trilby/fedora is where it's at!

Yo.

Things just seem to have gone downhill. Spam, the Anti-Donations thread, spam, the tasteless Nidal Malik thread, spam...

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

Small Worlds. Seriously, the blue and white parts are just heartbreaking. Especially because the music in the blue part seems to indicate to me that the thing you see is just a baby.

One day, we shall all look back on this, and laugh. Sorry about the face, by the way, and the legs, and the eyes, and the arms. In fact, sorry 'bout the whole body.

Four days of pretending to be Suiseiseki-chan, all for nothing.  Leafsnail, Serial Killer Aligned Suigintou, has been defeated.

I'm jittery, I'm worried, I'm anxious, I have an exam tomorrow and I'm bored out of my life.
And I blame it all on the stupid fucking avatar.
