I am incredibly depressed. My forum games are dead, my feelings are down, and I can't properly sleep at all. I've been doing nothing but play games, stim and spiral. Last time I spoke was 3 days ago. I hate myself. And I don't know what to do. I am such a mess.

I don't know what I think I am accomplishing by writing this, but I guess I just wanted someone to know. I am never able to tell with these things.

Sounds like you need to be around people. I know that's tough when your internal dialog is fucked.

In lieu of people, just do something DIFFERENT. Go walk. Walk until you're exhausted. Do something physical, even if that's something super lame like clean your home. Volunteer your time to a cause you care about.

You can wish for change but if you don't do something outside of your norm, then the only change you can rely on is an internal one and that is honestly much harder than just changing your environment a bit or funneling your energy into something productive.

Exhaustion, stress, anxiety, a boring subject and a boring lecturer.

It's a nice combo. I've skipped a lecture because I was so zoned out it actually took half an hour to zone back in properly, and that lecture, while a different subject, had the same lecturer. She's in love with tables and graphs, I swear.

At least my other two subjects are interesting.

I had a science teacher like that, she had us take shit loads of notes that never got used for the class and seemed to exist only to keep from having to actually teach us anything.

Stress and anxiety again.

I'm thinking I might have mild GAD. It keeps coming and going every few months, although at this time of year the miserable weather and dark won't be helping.

sorta affirmed in myself, that this is what I consider a deep curse.

Particularly since I went on to describe (unrelated to topic) that all people deserve to be happy.  Even this...

It’s the perfect cover for the extraterrestrials. Everyone will just think it’s generated footage. Plan working as intended - just took those pesky Earthlings long enough to get the AI working… geez finallly!

I think I’m developing an anxious attachment to one of my friends.
I don’t know where it’s coming from but I have no idea how to nip it in the bud, and I really need to.

After not looking at it in detail for a couple years, I looked in detail at the family's spending versus budget for last month.

EDIT: Of course the budgetary discipline is what made me sad, if it wasn't clear.  So now I have to be "the bad guy."

In the style of Admiral Ackbar: "Our bank accounts can't sustain negative cashflows of this magnitude!"

Generally bummed out. I know why, this isn't some vague my-brain-decided-to-be-sad thing so I know it'll resolve itself.

And in a way, after my 5-6 years of depression, it's nice to be able to actually feel sad. Spending a long time with generic apathy's given me a degree of appreciation.

Regardless though, I'm still bummed out.

Atlus is apparently releasing a modern ogre battle style game and it's console only and even if it's staggeringly tempting i really can't afford to drop the 300+ bucks it'd take to get both ;_;

just release it on pc damnit aaaahhh

A bit longer. I think it went down two Sundays ago, and just came back today.

It went down early on the 23rd, same day Toady posted about it. I mentioned it that day at 1:04am on the Kitfox discord, so it might hav been late on the 22nd, depending on time zone.
