If this ain't derailed...
Some idiot in my family got on my computer, went to clean out all the files that they didn't use, which apparently was my folders containing DF, LCS, Civilization, and some ancient game called Cuban Missile Crisis. Dammit. I was gonna use them! I'm gonna delete every user on my computer except mine. Dammit Dammit Dammit Dammit Dammit Dammit.

It's 1 am and my sister is on the phone crying (with boyfriend I assume), and there is nothing I can do.

This could go in the happy thread, but I guess not.

I was out at a gig all of last night, I get back to the boarding house at eleven, sober and everything, Go to get ready for bed, and find the housemaster waiting for me. "Apparently" I was meant to be back at ten, which means that very late at night I was pretty much where I wasn't supposed to be... So.. I may or may not be getting expelled.

EDIT: Luckily the more reasonable Astnt Housemaster was in charge, so I was able to explain myself to him. I just got a detention.

I doubt sexism is the big play here. He has known for a while she was with another woman. It was when the whole sister thing happened that things looked like they got rough.

 And I doubt IWM adheres that strictly to the rules of his religion, nor whatever version everybody is currently thinking of.

 Ontopic, a buddy of mine is going through a difficult time right now over an issue I do a service in not revealing. And I don't know what to do about it other that support him. Not necessarily his reaction to the issue, but him himself.

Man, I know how that feels, although I'm not sure I can even claim that as I hadn't seen my friend for three years before she died.

I'm sorry to hear that tack. and not just over-the internet sorry,  i had a close friend pass away to an aneurysm last year.i was there,and there wasn't a damn thing i could do. i can relate to what you must be feeling now,but it's different for everybody.
