I'm just having a little bit of my anxiety where I wish someone was around to beat me. Just whip the shit out of me, and I'm disappointed that there's noone to perform this service for me.

Just overall feeling like a shithead, an ingrate, an asshole, and worst of all, a pseudo-intellectual that thinks too highly of himself too often; and deserves to get punished for it.

You have not heard of dominatrixes? I mean, I'm pretty sure you can find someone to do it for free as well, but it is a service that is performed.

A more serious suggestion would be to get into kickboxing or similar. It's good exercise, I always slept amazingly well after getting my ass beat for a while.

I hurt myself through periods of over-exercise. It numbed the emotions but I suspect it's bad advice.

Exercise really relaxes me. In that capacity, light to moderate works best.

In terms of taking punishment, I advise... not making that an aim.

Just learned that Qinni, a web artist, have died from cancer.

You probably have seen her images on the internet, including Starred Freckles girl.

Gah. Loneliness. Perhaps the cringiest of Sads.
Spoiler: loser stuff, beware (click to show/hide)

...So yeah, I've just about recovered from that, now. Loneliness has returned to a more normal level and I assume anyone who looks at me for longer than necessary does so with suspicion, distaste or morbid fascination as opposed to anything like attraction. Still perhaps a crazy assumption, but ironically a considerably less stressful one.

Now I'm back to worrying about more normal things, such as where I'm going and WTF I'm doing with my life and when my horribly dysfunctional digestive tract is gonna strike next. Yeah. Much better. At least there is beer in the fridge.

He could always join Fetlife, find someone who would enjoy the experience as much as he (supposedly) would.
Maybe a dom who is also into kickboxing...?

@Yoink

*checks over shoulder for wife*

Yeah man, I've been with the same girl for more than 10 years, happily married for four, I love being a Dad, and every so often I still think about what might have been with so-and-so from back when. This is even though I am perfectly happy and don't see myself ever changing anything about my love/family life from what it is now.

It's silly, and pointless, and honestly meaningless in any practical sense, but it's not really any different from thinking about any other "what if" scenario. Totes normal.

Far as i'm concerned this is the best solution to that problem I've heard to date.

Nah Banjo needs to stop drinking. That is horrible advice. You don't tell a heroin addict to keep shooting up. You help them get off it or give no advice.
Seriously yoink your drinking is a main component of your pathetic sadness you straddle. I see you brother. I feel for you. Please try to quit drinking for at least 3 months.
You have such a spark about you. Don't lose it.
Peace the rest of you fucks.

Yes. Yoink, you need to not drink so much. If stopping cold turkey won’t work try halving the amount you drink each day for a week, then half that amount for next week, or another gradual decrease over time

If you need any support, I know Kagus and Hans have dealt with similar issues before. :)

What even happened to Hans?
Hope he’s okay.
His last post was kinda troubling in hindsight

I haven't heard from him lately, and he was last active on B12 in December. Hope he's okay.

I'm curious as to how a tank would evolve. Would it climb out of the primordial ooze wiggling it's track-nubs, feeding on smaller jeeps before crawling onto the shore having evolved proper treds?

He's been memeing on Facebook, so he's definitely still alive (unless the mad bastard's set up a script to post relevant memes for him... Hmm...). So far as I know he's just been really busy.
