"secretly"

Just because they're not blatantly trying to sell you kitchens doesn't make them masters of stealth, you know.

I saw an "Escaped Lunatic" the other day whose first and only post consisted of a several-paragraph treatise on the marvels of some CS:GO idlebot... in Spanish.

In the Forum Games and Roleplaying subforum.  ::)

Wow. Just finished binge-watching JourneyQuest.
I didn't expect it to be nearly as entertaining as the other stuff by the creators at first, but boy was I wrong.
Not only did the show stir up far more emotion than I was expecting, I now have to wait with everyone else for season four.
I think this more than warrants a cross-post.

Hope you're feeling better. If it helps with the carpet bit, I forget the brand but there's a very good, $20 carpet cleaning soap+brush that is sold at Walmart. Red brush, I want to say the brand is Shout.

If you happen to already own an extractor--

Woolite delicate laundry detergent, + water, +oxyclean(or generic), + isopropyl alcohol

Does not foam, enough to do an entire house several times over in normal sized bottle. Vastly less expensive than the normal machine solutions. :P It will take out koolaid.

Mom's birthday is tomorrow.  Presents sent to me because most of the present giving family is up north.  I leave them in the shipping packages all sealed up because I don't have any place to hide them, then wrap them the night before so everything stays a surprise.  They tend to send all their presents in one package so it usually works out when I individually wrap them.

Open up the package from up north to find that 3 of the 4 items they sent are the same items I got her for birthday/christmas.  Fortunately I still have 1 unique gift I can give her, I was planning on saving it for christmas, but I suppose I can give it to her tomorrow.  Its easier for me to just return my stuff and get something else than communicate back and forth up north.  I still have my origonal packaging too so it's likely easier for me to do the return than them.

Still a little bummed that I got all my christmas shopping done early this year, but now I have to go back out to find other things last minute.

An extra treatment has been added on last minute, 15 days of radiation in a row. I celebrate Christmas tomorrow, then straight to the hospital next week.

It's painful to lay down flat, so actually getting the therapy will be... Interesting. They gave me a morphine shot for the CT scan and I only barely made it; the actual treatments will require me to lie flat for twice as long.
