It is what we do best: We die standing.

Better to live standing than die on your knees

If you keep quoting others saying your name people will start to mistake you for a pokemon.  :P

I'm back off of work again because of my lower back. There's really no light at the end of the tunnel right now. Good news is that I get to see a pain specialist again, and I get another month to recuperate.

I get to lift old people for a living; back pain is kinda something I have intimate experience with.

Have you tried rolling up a towel, laying it in the bed where the small of your back goes, and then sleeping on it?  It's something I learned from a chiropractor, so take with a grain of salt, but it seems to work well for me. (That and sometimes sleeping on a foam rubber mattress directly on the floor, instead of in a proper bed, from time to time.)

Given MZ's back pain mostly derives from an injury for which he currently has two pins in his spine, I'm not sure that'll help.

I have a Casper mattress specifically for this purpose. It's amazing.

It's actually four screws connected by two rods, but who's counting?
