Well, shit... somehow I forgot that rent was due a day from now, rather than, I don't know, some undefined point in the future? Honestly my memory has been so bad lately it is starting to worry me.

Presumably it goes hand in hand with my currently abysmal sleep patterns... well, whatever the case, time to be broke for a fortnight. I guess it's nice that I can at least afford to pay my rent at all, but it's hard to focus on that sort of bigger-picture thinking when the fact that I've managed to majorly screw myself over again is staring me in the face making me want to scream, vomit or both.

I already had enough shit to worry about without the bottom falling out of my finances like this. Looks like I'm back on staples for the foreseeable future, after this brief while I've spent binging on cheese toasties, store-bought spring rolls and various other delicacies that one sometimes spends money on when they don't have to pay rent in the near future...

Oops. Rent's due and I somehow entirely forgot to budget for it. How do I manage to do this to myself? At least I can afford to pay it and maybe scrape by without having to borrow money from anyone, but... this could have been so easily avoided if I hadn't just seemingly forgotten that rent was a thing that exists. o_o

Ugh. This time last year, life was going pretty great. I thought things were just going to keep getting better from there on out, but if I was in some kind of spectator mode watching my life these past few weeks it would look just like I'd loaded an old save game from back when everything was hopeless.

I can relate Yoink specially since my sleep is nonexistent, in he past three days I have sleep like 8 hours total and that kind of stuff trashes your memory and cognitive capacities, besides putting you in a horrible mood.

Also being broke sure sucks. Try to have a paper on your fridge with yours fixed expenses like rent, electricity, coocking gas, water, even groceries and such and have checkboxes for each month/week so you can keep track of what has been paid and what not each month/week.

If money is thigh cook yourself and buy vegetables on sales, ckean thwm and cut them then use bags or whatever container you can use on your fridge and freeze those bad boys.

Cooked rice and bread can be frozen too and thawed (is that a worword) at demand in portions as needed. Not the tastiest but still good for not wasting food.
