I didn't say I had issues with my brain chemistry, but I suppose it is something that my shrinks had *strongly* suggested might be the case, so I suppose that possibility is on the table.
Please do look into that. Listening to the things they *suggest* can have a huge positive impact. In my experience, those suggestions, especially if they come up often, are for a very good reason.

Went to an Easter service at the church I go to. Pretty sure there was a girl there my age checking me out. Either that or looking at something behind me multiple times over the course of the church service. Which seems doubtful.

Being the robot I am I didn't try talking to her or even greet her or shake her hand or anything. Saying hi and shaking hands to people is at least encouraged after the service. Absolutely stupid. I'm trying to fix my shit so I can be more attractive, I try going out to social functions occasionally so I can at least try to meet girls (or make friends, really. either would be good) and when there seems to be an opportunity I freeze up and panic internally and don't do anything. Kicking myself.

Really this is just a continuation of my problem with being unable to approach or talk to people I don't know. I really don't like how left out I feel at this church, since I don't know many people and don't try talking to people, and the whole reason I'm going is to try to be a member of a community, but at the same time talking to new people terrifies me so I'm stuck being miserable.

How am I supposed to be a functioning member of society when I can't even meet new people or talk to people or fulfill basic social interactions.

Saying hello to people in passing is a good start. Makes it a bit easier to get over the anxiety of having to interact with folk. Takes some time to get used to, though.

My left little finger tends to go numb since last week. Slightly worries me, though I assume it´s related to some bad typing position or something.

Dunno, churches in Easter seem an unlikely hookup place tbh. But then again I never go to church so who knows. I could be wrong

I mean, Easter Church doesn't seem like the WORST place to hook up, since a proper christan is SUPPOSED to have certain, qualifications... that make them a good match for most people

And they are celebrating an unexpected rising, too.

The occasion of which depends on the spring equinox and phases of the moon.

The bunny and egg symbolism is pretty suggestive, for church.

That's a basic goal I have. Say hi and smile to people in passing. Not making much progress.

Yeah, same opinion here. But it's a social gathering. Theoretically someone can met new people anywhere there's new people.

And the non-Christian Easter symbolism is all pagan spring fertility bullshit, so it is somewhat fitting.

Easter is like the most blatantly obvious rebranded fertility festival ever. So I think its fairly fitting.

Had to pick bits of mould off one of the sandwiches I made this morning in the dark. Also, being sick for over a week (and subsequently hardly leaving the house) seems to have set my anxiety back considerably, as well as my fitness... then again, perhaps I am just tired and stressed, moreso than usual at least. It feels as though I out of practice with human interaction, I get this feeling sometimes when I've been a bit reclusive for a while.

You’re outta practice being around people (presumably strangers; I can’t remember if you live with other folk) and depending on what you were sick with, that might have something to do with “fitness”. I’ve been sick for about a week and a half myself with some variety of respiratory nonsense, and have been left with a wonderful tight feeling in my chest.

Which I guess is my sad, since I tried to work through it last week, leaving work early on 3 of the 5 days I was scheduled and taking one completely off, and it’s still here :'(

I tried to enroll into a training course by myself.  First I was told no, then yes, now I'm being told I cannot self fund *facepalm*.
