@Naxza: yikes, that sounds like quite an emotionally brutalising situation. Hang in there.
Feel free to post and vent as much as you want and in as bad a mood as you please, that's fine! Plenty of folks (myself included) use Bay12 for their cathartic venting. Even when we lack anything really helpful to add, most of us will at least read and commiserate with such posts. :)

Sad to see flash go.
It was inevitable.
Wait, what? What's the point of having a web browser if you can't play flash games in it?

Edit: Apparently Bdthemag hasn't been online since 2016.

Flash games are still a thing?
Support by all browsers to die by 2020.

Ha! I never update my browser!

I should probably back it up in preparation for when my computer inevitably dies to a virus or something...

No! There is always the stand-alone flash player exe!!  Those flash classics can still be played, even after browsers reject with prejudice!

(and hey, I really liked the "Arcane mystery serial" games from Sarbakan!)

Ah, Raze was so fun! There was a quality psuedo 3D rails shooter on armor games, too. Also, I recall the glory days of Thing Thing. :D

Let's not forget about Epic Battle Fantasy! Except maybe for the first one. I'm fine with forgetting that one.

Free flash games died a quick death once Indie developing became popular.

I mean, why make a shitty flash game for free while one can make a shitty flash game and have people pay for it?

It's making me very anti-sad to see so many fond memories. It strengthens my conviction that this rich, massive, diverse body of work will not be lost.

Except the multiplayer games, but that's true of any platform. And people do occasionally set up servers for old games that deserve it.

The armor games forum is dead
No! Rip.
A really cool card game called Elements... Raze... Azul Baronis... Age of war...Mud and Blood... Obliterate Everything...
Elements was probably the only TCG style game I ever got into, which is saying something. Raze was a classic, Azul Baronis was a dream, Age of War is still nostalgia... But damn Mud and Blood, now there was a flash game. Heavy RNG, incredibly painful, but that made doing well so much fun.

Let's not forget about Epic Battle Fantasy! Except maybe for the first one. I'm fine with forgetting that one.
Aha oh yes, I loved that too! Oh gosh I still remember losing a save of three half-way through, I'm still salty about that.  >:(

And I remember Amorphous+. I got 109 out of all 110 achievements in that game and it still annoys me to this day. And E7, short as it may be. And Tower of Heaven, and No Comment! And so many others... my childhood!
